Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging with an opportunity supporting a busy radiology department on a flexible schedule of three 12-hour shifts, covering weekend days from Friday through Monday. This contract role calls for an experienced CT/X-ray technologist to perform a variety of advanced imaging procedures and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic imaging exams including CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures Consistently apply radiation safety and protection principles to every scan Interpret radiology requisitions and collaborate with radiologists and clinical providers Observe, assess, and respond efficiently to patients' conditions, initiating life support measures when necessary Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports Practice ethical, professional standards in every interaction and exam
Qualifications and Credentials:
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography program or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in an additional imaging modality, hospital background preferred Proficient CT imaging skill set is required Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist license Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon orientation) Travel assignment experience is preferred
