1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years experience in both MRI and X-ray to work in a free-standing ED setting with adult and pediatric patients. Details Free-standing ED setting with approximately 50% ED patients and 50% outpatient patients Adult and pediatric acute care and outpatient populations, including ER/Trauma cases Evening shift, 4x10 hours, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Thursday No weekend requirements No call requirements Uses GE and Siemens MRI equipment and PACS system Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Current BLS, ARRT-R, and
ARRT-MRI
certifications WA State license in both MR and Radiology required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience required Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings Trauma Level I experience preferred Proficiency in MRI imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions Experience with contrast media preparation and administration Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs Fluoroscopy and X-ray skills required Must be able to perform both X-ray and MRI duties Additional Information Perform diagnostic MRI and X-ray imaging across a variety of anatomical regions and patient populations May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process First-time travelers are accepted for this role Former permanent employees of the facility may be eligible to return as travelers after a 3-month separation period Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required Candidates must disclose any prior work history with the health system, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower bill rate
