Description of job: SnapCare is seeking experienced MRI Technologists to provide coverage across multiple imaging modalities. Technologists will operate advanced MRI equipment to perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures in support of Veteran patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced MRI examinations (head, spine, abdomen, chest, extremities) Operate superconductive MRI systems using established protocols Ensure patient safety and compliance with MRI safety standards Prepare patients, verify identity, and explain procedures Enter and maintain accurate imaging records in electronic systems Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours imaging services as needed Maintain infection control and equipment readiness standards Requirements ARRT certification (MRI specialty required) Active BLS certification Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting Recent MRI hospital experience within the last 6 months Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month assignment Health Requirements MMR vaccine or titer Hep B vaccine or titer Varicella vaccine or titer TB skin test, bloodwork, or Chest X-ray Flu shot
