  • Responsibilities
  • Provides service to adolescents and adults.
Produces high quality images for Radiology and the assigned areas within the Operating room that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.
Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred. Associates degree preferred Registered with the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists:
R.T.(R) (ARRT) ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date Current Basic Life Support certification. Active Wisconsin Radiographer License

  • Schedule Details
  • Daytime hours varying between 7:00am-9am for 8-hour shifts. Rotating call nights, short call shifts, weekend call, and holiday call. Routinely 1 night per week of overnight call and 1 night per week of short call from 3:30-7pm
  • Weekend Schedule
  • Weekend call only, no scheduled hours runs from 4pm Friday to Monday morning at 7:30. Normally scheduled every 6th weekend.
