BayCare Clinic's mission is to provide measurably superior specialty medical services to our patients BayCare Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Radiology Technician to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The schedule varies based on clinic need between the hours of Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm., 32-40 hours per week. No Holidays! No Weekends!
The Clinic:
BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound. The Job:
Performs appropriate diagnostic radiographic exams. Accurately identifies and labels radiographs. Positions patients and selects exposure factors for various radiologic exams. Provides radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods and sound professional ethics. Adheres to established quality standards and performs equipment quality assurance tests as directed. Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs. Reports malfunctioning equipment. Assists in clinical direction and evaluation of student technologists. Properly lifts and transports patients as needed. Compares requisitions to physician orders to ensure accuracy of ordered examinations. Responsible for outside film. Responsible for keeping all radiology policies current. Attends and participates in professional organizations and continuing education programs for personal/professional growth. Monitors radiation badges. Accurately completes payroll on a daily basis. Adheres to department rules and standards for attendance. Respects and maintains confidentiality.
The Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology. Certification or registry eligible from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other accepted accrediting bodies.
