Schedule:
4x10 Day Shifts | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 Hours/Week) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join its IR/Vascular Department . This role involves assisting physicians with a wide variety of minimally invasive vascular and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards in a Level II Trauma Center. (BI02) Responsibilities Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for interventional radiology and vascular procedures. Scrub in and assist physicians during complex IR and vascular cases. Set up sterile fields and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety. Assist with guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, balloon angioplasty, stent deployment, and other interventional procedures. Calibrate and troubleshoot imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Perform room turnover, restock supplies, and prepare procedure suites for the next case. Document procedures accurately using Cerner EMR . Participate in the rotating on-call schedule. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience BLS (AHA) Certification ACLS Certification Experience assisting with vascular and IR procedures Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Knowledge of fluoroscopy, radiation safety, sterile technique, and interventional imaging equipment Ability to participate in an on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time
