Hours/Week Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Marshfield, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong IR and vascular procedure experience, with the ability to assist physicians in complex image-guided procedures, maintain sterile technique, and operate advanced imaging equipment.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Active ARRT/IR or relevant Radiology Technologist credentials preferred BLS (AHA) required ACLS required Experience with Cerner and Merge EMR preferred Siemens equipment experience preferred
Department Details:
Acute Care Setting Trauma Level II Facility 7
Procedure Rooms Total:
4 Cath Lab/EP Rooms 3 IR/Vascular Rooms Average 20+ cases daily across all rooms
Procedure Experience:
Must have experience with: Port placements Liver biopsies IVC filter placements G-tube placements PICC & central line placements Neuro procedures: Coiling Thrombectomy Embolization Vascular procedures: Fem-pop interventions AAA repair Carotid procedures
EVAR Angiography Job Responsibilities:
Prepare procedure rooms and ensure radiation safety compliance Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment Prepare sterile supplies and procedure setups Scrub in and assist physicians during procedures Assist with: Device exchanges Guidewire manipulation Catheter placements Balloon and stent deployments Manage radiation dose and imaging angles Perform room turnover, cleaning, and restocking
Schedule & Call Details:
4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Rotating day off 5x8 schedule may be considered (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Weeknight and weekend call rotation required
Approximately:
Every 3rd weekday call Every 3rd weekend call (Friday-Monday) Holiday call may be required Call response time: 30 minutes
