Standard Hours:

Shift:

Shift 1 Float position to help cover PTO, rotate through Mequon Health Center, West Bend Hospital, Menomonee Falls Hospital and Town Hall Heath Center. Hours vary from 6:45AM- 4:30PM with occasional coverage at Mequon from 10-6:30.

Job Summary:

Responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to images, equipment, and quality control. Maintains competency and performs at least one of the following on a routine basis: mammography interventional procedures i.e.

Affirm / Stereotactic

, diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, or bone density. Provides back up coverage for the Lead / QA Mammography Technologist, performs quality control, and consults with physicians. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical / clinical staff, students, and patients. Perform other duties as assigned / requested.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

A minimum of 1-2 years experience in performing mammography is required.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

Post high school completion of an ARRT approved program in radiologic technology is required. 1-2 years of college/university and/or undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION

ARRT registered IN radiology (RTR) and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is also required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
