A CT Technician or Technologist performs CT (computerized tomography) scans to diagnose medical conditions. Operates equipment used in scans and assists with analyzing the results. Works in healthcare facilities or diagnostic laboratories in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare specialists.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Outpatient, ED, inpatients, Level II Trauma scans. Could see an infant (rare), but usually toddler and up, mostly adults. Strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, pulmonary embolisms
Required License, National Certification, Certs:
ARRT (CT) and WI License, BLS Skills required: Experience with above patient types, strokes/brain CTAS, comfortable working independently Canon and Toshiba experience HIGHLY preferred. 2 CT Techs for Days, 1 CT tech after 1830 Imaging Patient Assistant- transports, turns room around, stocks. Leaves at 2100 Concierge at Imaging Desk for outpatient needs Radiology Nurse until 1600 Phlebotomy in hospital House Supervisor will support IV after hours if needed Lead CT Technologist on site during day shift RT 24/7 MRI and X-ray 24/7
