1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a hospital radiology unit near Kenosha, WI, with at least 2 years of experience and strong skills in portable, fluoroscopy, and C-arm imaging. Details 60-bed Level 3 Trauma Center hospital located outside of Kenosha, WI Radiology unit with 2 diagnostic rooms and 1 fluoroscopy room Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and some pediatric patients, with a predominantly adult census 1:1 patient ratio Procedures include chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm imaging, surgical cases, portable exams, and limited fluoroscopy Equipment includes Canon portable units, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, and Dell workstations with Canon plates EMR is Epic; McKesson PACS experience preferred Pyxis used for medication dispensing Weekend position: Fridays 8:00 AM-8:30 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM-7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts, 36 hours/week) Float requirement throughout the hospital for portable imaging, including OR and ED Only one X-ray tech and one CT tech on after 10:00 PM Holiday coverage required when a holiday falls on a scheduled shift No on-call or call-back requirements Requirements Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, with most recent experience within the last year Current BLS and ARRT certifications required Wisconsin state license required if applicable Proficiency in chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, portable exams, C-arm, surgical imaging, and fluoroscopy Experience with Epic EMR McKesson PACS experience preferred Minimum 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, dated within the past year First-time travelers with a strong clinical background will be considered Additional Information Perform diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and OR settings, including portable imaging throughout the facility Transport support available 7:00 AM-9:00 PM; RT and hospitalist coverage available 24/7 Orientation is 2-3 days based on comfort level COVID vaccine required Any scrub color is acceptable Free parking available on site Local candidates are accepted Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible
