Schedule:
12 hour rotating night shift Position Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs assigned duties in the field of radiography to determine the presence of disease or injury by performing radiographs in surgery, the emergency room, the Radiology Department and in multiple other locations using a portable radiographic device. This position is responsible for performing an age-specific assessment prior to and during the radiology procedure, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure, and recording the images. The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic studies, CT scans, EKG's, as well as, clerical duties. The Technologist utilizes all radiology equipment accurately, safely, and evaluates images for quality. The Radiologic Technologist maintains involvement with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and radiation safety and protection programs. Essential Duties Verify type of radiologic examination and prepare procedure rooms Confirm patient identity and explain procedures Position and immobilize patients according to guidelines Ensure proper radiation protection for patients and staff Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy Perform portable imaging and assist in other hospital areas Complete documentation, billing, and clerical tasks promptly Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies Qualifications Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology Current ARRT registration Wisconsin State license as a Radiologic Technologist MRI Experience Preferred Why Join Us?
