Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Contribute your expertise in medical imaging by supporting patients and healthcare teams as an X-ray Technologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in Radiologic Technology, seeking flexibility and the chance to make a tangible difference.
Schedule/Hours:
Extremely flexible with shifts and working hours to accommodate your availability.
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Proficient in performing diagnostic imaging, specifically X-rays. Must have a permanent residence located more than 75 miles away.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal image capture. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care planning. Maintain records, ensure equipment is sanitized and functioning correctly, and adhere to all compliance standards.
