NEEDED:
Radiologic TechnologistLOCATION
1 Glen Ray Road, Alderson, West Virginia, 24910SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMQUALIFICATIONS
The Radiologic Technologist shall be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Should also be licensed by the state of West Virginia Must be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association. Must have at least three or more years of experience.JOB DUTIES
Performing routine radiology and mammography services to AIC as referred by BOP Health Services Staff. Maintaining the radiology and mammography equipment through required services performed by contracting services. Independently performing all radiographic and mammographic procedures, i.e. chest, bone, skull, spine, knee, back etc. Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of medical information in the radiology department and medical conditions of the AIC and staff. Notifying the clinical director or physician of any preliminary abnormalities seen while patient is undergoing an exam, so that additional views, or exams can be ordered if needed. Providing assistance to medical staff duties assigned such as scanning of medical records, maintaining radiology badges, monitoring sanitation in the health services area, and assisting in Improving Organization Plan. Explaining appropriate instructions to the AIC who undergo radiology procedures. Maintaining mammography accreditation and related standards. Evaluating radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs and informing the HSA if repairs or calibrations or needed. Ensuring there has been an inspection for defects performed twice per year for gloves, aprons, and shields and those inspections are signed off by the clinical director and theHSA. BENEFITS
