Job Description
Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide comprehensive imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple modalities including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging with exposure to a variety of cases like orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and cystoscopic procedures.
Schedule & Location:
Four 10-hour shifts Steady afternoon and midnight shifts Every other weekend midnight shift Position is within a 50-mile radius; submission requires an unexpired driver's license and disclosure of licensing historyKey Responsibilities:
Perform general X-ray studies, fluoroscopy procedures, and support OR imaging needs Utilize advanced equipment such as C-arms, portable GE AMX with DR-Konica, and Del Medical, Siemens, Philips diagnostic rooms Float between the general department, fluoroscopy, and operating room as needed Handle an average workload of approximately 110 imaging studies daily Operate EMR system Community Works and PACS system Intellirad/Intelliconnect efficiently Serve as the only tech on site during overnight shifts, ensuring smooth operation and patient careRequired Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification, WV X-ray license, and BLS certificationWV CARES
registration required prior to start Ability to operate and function in all imaging areas: general X-ray, portables, OR, and fluoroscopy First-time travelers are welcomed to applyBenefits and Opportunities:
