Job Description
Rivers Health is hiring a Multimodality Tech for the Gallipolis Office to perform the following duties. Performs general radiology examinations on patients according to policy and procedure. Performs CAT scans on patients according to policy and procedure. Performs mammography examinations on patients according to policy and procedure. Coordinates scheduling, transportation and scanning of patients. Lifts, moves and transports patient via wheelchair or cart. Maintains cleanliness of rooms and equipment. Orders supplies used in the operation of assigned areas. Follows safety and infection control policies of the department and hospital. Takes call as scheduled. Complies with all safety and infection control policies of the department and hospital. Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration. Will participate in quality improvement activities including serving on quality improvement teams. Demonstrates excellence in customer service skills. Performs other duties that may be assigned. Complies with Corporate Policies, Departmental Policies and Procedures and Personnel Employee Handbook.
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING
Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved Radiology Technology
Program and meet the registry requirements by the ARRT and be licensed by
the state of WV. Must be able to meet appropriate departmental training
and testing for each respective area within 90 days.
