This role focuses on developing a welcoming and vibrant environment through social, recreational, educational, and wellness-based programming tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and needs. The Life Enrichment Manager works closely with residents, families, and team members to encourage connection, independence, purpose, and daily enjoyment within the community. Responsibilities Develop, organize, and implement a comprehensive life enrichment program that promotes physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive wellness. Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly programming calendars for residents with varying levels of independence and care needs. Encourage resident participation and foster an inclusive environment where all residents feel valued and engaged. Coordinate community events, themed activities, outings, entertainment, and holiday celebrations. Collaborate with department leaders to support residents' overall wellness and individualized needs. Maintain activity supplies, calendars, participation records, and documentation as required. Build positive relationships with residents and families while promoting resident satisfaction and engagement. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, entertainers, and support staff assisting with programming. Assist with transportation and accompany residents on outings when needed. Support community marketing efforts by promoting events and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe, respectful, and resident-centered manner. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, recreation, or customer service preferred. Knowledge of aging-related needs and memory support programming is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events and schedules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage residents, families, and team members. Creative, energetic, and compassionate approach to resident engagement and programming. Ability to adapt activities to accommodate varying cognitive and physical abilities. Experience leading group activities, events, or wellness programs is a plus. Comfortable operating community transportation vehicles or willing to be trained. Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for special events or outings. Proficient in basic computer skills and calendar management.
