Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate NCCAP-Certified Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities and programs for our senior residents. Your role will contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our senior residents
  • Create a monthly activity calendar that includes a variety of options for residents to participate in
  • Coordinate and lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and other recreational activities.
  • Provide individualized attention to residents who require additional support or have specific interests
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of activities and events
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback
  • Stay updated on current trends in senior care, aging issues counseling, and recreational therapy
  • Assist with personal care tasks (ADLs) as needed
Qualifications:
  • NCCAP approved certification IS required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of senior care principles, including memory care and dementia care
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently We offer competitive pay rates and a benefits package.
