Pay Rate:
$54 / hour W2 Details Full Time Schedules Some weekends may be required 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

Tues-Fri 7am-5:30pm (30) Duties Assess patient needs Consider medical records Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients Document a patient's progress during their activities Other duties assigned my supervisor Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON
(NCTRC)
OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION
