Mitchell Forensic Building (JEM) with a total of 42 male and female clients who are considered level 5 supervision under the custody of the Delaware Department of Corrections. The incumbent is responsible for assessments, facilitating therapeutic groups daily, documenting progress, consult interdisciplinary teams/eternal agencies as necessary to promote person-centered goals, develop treatment plan interventions, encourage clients to successfully participate and complete their treatment goals. JOB REQUIREMENTS

for Activity Therapist I Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months experience in planning, organizing and leading group activities. Six months experience in working with persons with disabilities. Six months experience in applying laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
