A Recreational Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving movement, sports, games, and other activities for brain stimulation. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Certified Occupation Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Hollywood, FL We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Occupation Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at In Home Rehab Group in Hollywood, FL. As a COTA with our organization, you will have the unique opportunity to provide one-on-one care to geriatric patients in their own homes, making a meaningful impact on their daily lives. About the
Role:
As a COTA with In Home Rehab Group, you will be responsible for treating patients in their homes, providing creative and individualized treatment sessions, and engaging with family and caregivers as needed. You will also be required to thoroughly complete all documentation, maintain frequent communication with your supervisor and patient representative, and treat patients independently, without an onsite supervisor.

Treat patients in their homes Provide creative and individualized treatment sessions Engage family and caregivers as needed, providing education/HEP/DME recommendations Thoroughly complete all documentation Maintain frequent communication with your supervisor and patient representative
Requirements:
Active FL License and Registration Eligibility to work in the US Ability to document per Medicare guidelines Ability to document evaluations and treatment sessions in a timely manner Ability to treat patients in the home, independently, without an onsite supervisor
