$50,000-$62,000 annually
About Us:
Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through compassionate, personalized care. We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to lead our activities program, creating meaningful and therapeutic experiences tailored to each resident's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and implement personalized activity programs that reflect the unique needs and preferences of our residents. Collaborate closely with the Administrator to ensure all activities meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain policies related to medical aspects of activity programming. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized activity care plans. Perform additional duties as needed to ensure departmental success and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Certified Activities Professional (CAP) certification is required. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in Activities or Therapeutic Recreation in a long-term care or nursing home setting. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and team members. Solid knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
