Activity RV Manager -To be responsible for overseeing all areas of Activities and events at a a Luxury RV Resort including, but not limited to creating, coordinating, and executing a diverse calendar of social, recreational, and entertainment activities for RV resort guests, enhancing their experience while ensuring operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Must adhere to all applicable Fair Housing Laws governing Real Estate Sales, Leasing Management and Maintenance Services.
Program planning and execution:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly activities like dances, sporting events, picnics, and dinners. Create a master calendar of events for the community. Ensure a diverse range of programs that cater to resort guests and interests.
Event management:
Handle all provisions for events, including booking entertainers and arranging for food and beverages. Manage setup and cleanup for events. Track event attendance, income, and expenses.
Marketing and communication:
Create advertising for events, such as flyers and banners. Manage community newsletters and distribute them to residents.
Budget and administrative duties:
Assist in creating and maintaining the annual budget for activities.
Staff and volunteer management:
Assist in training other PT activity staff and volunteers. Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers. Required skills and qualifications Interpersonal and communication: Exceptional ability to engage with diverse groups of people. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational and planning:
Strong organizational and planning skills are essential for creating and executing engaging events.
Creativity:
Creativity is needed to design and develop engaging programs.
Leadership:
Leadership skills to guide staff and volunteers.
Experience:
Previous experience in a social or recreational program is often required. Experience in a supervisory role is frequently a plus. An activity director plans, organizes, and implements a variety of activities to enhance the quality of life of our guests. Key responsibilities include developing monthly activity calendars, managing budgets for supplies and events, coordinating with staff and volunteers, ensuring participant safety, and maintaining communication with residents, families, and other professionals. Core duties and responsibilities Activity planning and execution: Develop and lead engaging activities, which may include social events, creative arts, physical exercise, educational programs, and outings.
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
