Lifestyles Coordinator The Birches on Maple | Carrollton, GA | Full-Time About the Company The Birches on Maple is a premier senior living community dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment for the residents who call our community home. What You Will Do As the Lifestyles Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating engaging programs and meaningful experiences that enhance the quality of life for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.
Responsibilities include:
Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate therapeutic recreational activities for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, including evening and weekend activities. Ensure activity programming meets all applicable state regulations and community standards. Collaborate with other departments to develop programs that support the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of residents. Coordinate transportation and accompany residents on scheduled outings and community events. Develop and post the monthly activities calendar by the first day of each month. Maintain activity records for at least twelve (12) months and ensure documentation is available for regulatory review. Assist with developing and maintaining a volunteer program to support resident engagement. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members. Help create a fun, energetic, and resident-focused environment throughout the community. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Why You Are Qualified The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in senior living, recreation, activities, or a related field required. Current CPR certification preferred. Certified Activity Professional (or equivalent) preferred. Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A compassionate, enthusiastic, and creative personality with a passion for working with seniors. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and assisting with activities throughout the workday.
