Job Description

Activities Director - Assisted Living Community/ Snellville, GA We're looking for a creative, high-energy Activities Director who can bring joy, engagement, and structure to our residents' daily lives. This role is perfect for someone with a bubbly, outgoing personality who loves connecting with seniors—but also understands that activities in assisted living require planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do:
Plan and lead a dynamic monthly activities calendar that meets the needs and interests of residents Organize group events, outings, holiday celebrations, and daily engagement programs Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships Coordinate with other departments to enhance overall resident experience Maintain accurate documentation of participation and programming Ensure all activities meet state regulations and assisted living guidelines Prepare for and maintain survey readiness at all times
What We're Looking For:
Bubbly, energetic personality—someone who naturally engages and uplifts others Creativity—you bring fresh ideas and make every day feel different Experience in assisted living or senior activities (strongly preferred) Knowledge of activity programming requirements and compliance standards Organized and consistent with calendars, documentation, and follow-through Ability to lead both small and large group activities confidently
