Job Description

Sinnissippi Centers is looking to fill a part-time opening at our Women's Recovery Home with someone passionate about empowering the lives of others. This transitional residence provides a healthy and sober living environment for individuals participating in outpatient substance abuse services. The position will work at our Amboy Recovery Home location and could also provide periodic coverage at our Dixon location. Objectives Directly supervise residents in recovery housing. Participate as a team member in delivering treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate the development of independent living skills. Provide transportation to and from school, jobs, counseling services, 12-step meetings, medical services, recreational activities, etc., when public transportation is not an option. Assist in planning menus with residents and shopping for household items. Supervise all daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, menu planning, shopping, cooking meals, free time, etc. Ensure that patient service records are maintained consistent with regulations. Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical. Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Ethics and within the framework of the law. Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency. Requirements Must have an interest in substance abuse recovery support.
IAODAPCA
certification preferred but may be obtained within 2 years of employment. Hours may vary and might include some evenings and weekends.
Pay:
