Job Description

Responsibilities Shape the future of behavioral health care throughout the Forest Park community by joining our extraordinary team at Riveredge Hospital. Bring your compassion, expertise, enthusiasm, and passion for quality to a place that cultivates wellness and inspires hope. We are currently seeking a Creative Arts Therapist for Riveredge Hospital. Qualified applicants can have certification or licensure in: Dance/Movement, Art, Music, Drama, Recreation, etc. Simply apply to the posting and discuss your interests with the hiring manager if you are selected to come in for an interview. The Creative Arts Therapist uses a variety of organized age/population specific activities for patient treatment. Treatment is provided in groups or individually for all assigned patients. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (or Master's if required by the areaof speciality) required in Music, Drama, Art, Dance/Movement, Drama or Recreation Therapy. Registered/board certified or certified (or registration /certificate pending) with the national association of his/her specialty area. Successful completion of education with experience in the field. Maintains compliance with all Hospital annual competencies as well as CPR, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). Thoroughly understands the management of the patient milieu including age specific and cultural requirements and has knowledge of
JCAHO, CMS, OSHA
regulations and all other relevant state and federal regulatory standards.
