Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Congregate Meal Coordinator/Activities Coordinator to lead engaging programs and coordinate meal services for our senior residents. Duties Develop, organize, and implement a variety of recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents, including memory care and dementia-friendly programs Coordinate daily meal services ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions, nutritional guidelines, and resident preferences Foster resident engagement by building strong relationships and encouraging participation in activities and communal dining experiences Manage scheduling for activities and meal services efficiently using Microsoft Office tools or other scheduling software Lead team efforts in decorating common areas for special events, holiday celebrations, and themed activities to create a lively community atmosphere Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activity feedback, and meal service logs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement Experience Prior experience in senior care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated success in event planning, program development, or recreational therapy within geriatric or memory care settings Strong working knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, geriatrics, and aging issues counseling Proven ability to build rapport with residents through effective communication skills and compassionate caregiving approaches Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for scheduling, documentation, and reporting purposes Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs within long-term care or home & community care settings is advantageous Leadership experience in team coordination or supervising activity staff is a plus Join us in creating an energetic environment where seniors feel valued, engaged, and supported!
