In this vital role, you will foster a vibrant, supportive community by coordinating engaging activities, providing compassionate assistance, and ensuring residents' well-being. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate engaging events and recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including memory care and Alzheimer's support programs Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support residents in managing schedules for appointments, medication reminders, and social engagements to promote independence Provide compassionate counseling on aging issues and connect residents with community resources or social services as needed Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed and resident needs are met effectively Facilitate communication between residents, families, and care teams to promote transparency and trust Assist with creating a safe environment by monitoring resident activities and responding promptly to their needs or concerns Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in dementia care, memory care programs, or Alzheimer's support is preferred Background in recreational therapy or working with individuals with disabilities enhances your ability to connect with residents Strong communication skills that foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members Experience in event planning or organizing community activities that encourage social engagement Knowledge of caregiving best practices related to aging issues and home & community care environments Proven ability to manage schedules efficiently while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced setting Join us in creating a lively community where compassion meets action!
