Arts & Crafts Coordinator for Summer Camp (06/08/2026

  • Part-time Cedardale Health + Fitness, the largest multipurpose health, fitness and wellness club in the Merrimack Valley, is looking for a part-time Arts & Crafts Coordinator/Specialist for Summer Camp. Campers range in ages 5
  • 12.
This is a seasonal position 3 days per week. The Arts and Crafts Specialist is responsible for designing, preparing, and leading, age-appropriate art activities for campers. This role requires an organized, creative individual who can maintain a safe, clean craft environment while inspiring campers to explore their creativity and self-expression. Pre-season staff training provided along with summer membership.
Position Responsibilities:
Plan Activities:
Develop a structured, weekly curriculum of diverse and age-appropriate art projects (e.g., painting, slime, upcycling, beads, etc. aligned with camp themes.
Lead Sessions:
Instruct multiple daily activity periods, specifically on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays, providing step-by-step instructions and hands-on assistance to campers.
Adaptability:
Modify projects to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for campers of varying ages, skill levels, and abilities.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age with experience in leadership and creativity.
Background:
school coursework or camp experience in arts n crafts, or prior camp counseling experience is preferred.
Soft Skills:
High energy, patience, and a positive, encouraging demeanor when working with children.
Organization:
Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple groups of campers in a fast-paced setting.
Certifications:
First Aid / CPR certification or willingness to obtain preferred. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk across uneven terrain, and frequently bend, lift, and carry supplies up to 25 pounds. Background check required.
