A Recreational Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving movement, sports, games, and other activities for brain stimulation. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

JOB DETAILS POSITION SUMMARY
•LCSW / LICSW Inpatient Therapist
POSITION DUTIES
•Provides individual, group, and family therapy in an inpatient behavioral health setting, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and process groups to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, promote emotional regulation and coping skills, facilitate recovery, and coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•MA
LCSW / LICSW / LMHC
Master's degree in applicable field BLS HWC 1+ year acute hospital experience in specialty Skilled experience with the following: Psychotherapy, Psychosocial assessments, Treatment Planning, Discharge Planning, Group therapy, individual sessions

•Group therapy experience
