• Position Summary
• The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging programs that enhance the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being of residents. This role creates meaningful experiences that promote resident participation, independence, and quality of life while fostering a positive community environment.
• Key Responsibilities
• + Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar that meets the interests and needs of residents.

+ Lead group and individual activities, including recreational, educational, social, and wellness programs. + Encourage resident participation and engagement in community events. + Coordinate outings, special events, and holiday celebrations. + Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and program documentation. + Collaborate with residents, families, and team members to identify program opportunities and preferences. + Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and inclusive manner. + Assist with resident communication and promote upcoming events throughout the community.

• Qualifications
• + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Services, or a related field preferred.

+ One year of experience in activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, or customer service preferred. + Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to lead groups and engage individuals with diverse interests and abilities. + Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. + Must be able to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical Requirements
• + Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and actively participate in resident activities.
