We're seeking a passionate and creative Activities Director to join our team at Dennett Rehab Center! As a

CERTIFIED ACTIVITY

DIRECTOR, you'll be responsible for planning and leading a full calendar of activities that enrich the lives of our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to bring joy and creativity to work every day, leading a dynamic activity team and collaborating with other departments to create a positive, peaceful, and fun-loving community.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead a full calendar of creative activities, including themed parties, music, dance, crafts, clubs, and scenic outings Design activities to fit everyone's interests, abilities, and personalities Lead a team of activity staff, including hiring, training, and mentoring Write person-centered care plans, assessments, and progress notes Collaborate with other departments to ensure holistic care and a fun, community-focused environment Organize events, guest entertainers, and volunteer programs Host resident council meetings and ensure every voice is heard Spread smiles, high-fives, and laughter throughout the facility

Requirements:

CERTIFIED ACTIVITY DIRECTOR

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience running recreation programs in long-term care Top-tier organizational and people skills Heart full of compassion and a head full of ideas

Schedule:
