Job Description

We are currently Seeking Home and Community Certified Recreational Therapists to serve behavioral health populations through Michigan Medicaid Waivers and County Courts referrals (Youth on Probation & their families). We are actively seeking Recreation Therapists for the following
Counties:
SAGINAW, BAY, CLINTON, EATON, INGHAM, IONIA & MONTCALM.
Grounded Therapy Network, LLC is a private practice counseling & recreational therapy group located throughout Central and Northern Michigan. We are currently seeking Recreational Therapy Providers (who hold their CTRS) throughout the state. Our mission is to build a group network of therapists, anchored in various mental health provider disciplines, to allow for collaboration, community, networking and a comfortable working environment. We are grounded in our respect for each other and our differences in practice. Building a company which is fiscally responsible, supportive of its team members and their communities. Grounded Therapy Network LLC provides our Electronic Medical Record via SimplePractice.com. We encourage and guide therapists through the process of expanding their private practice and contract therapy opportunities. Therapists will be able to spend their time focusing on their own therapy niche and expanding on their skillset. Grounded Therapy Network will support you in connecting you with your ideal client. We are all in this together. Consider meeting with us and joining our team. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to develop individualized recreational therapy plans. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with RT professional Standards. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with diverse needs.. Provide services that are within the expertise RT professional training certification guidelines. Maintain necessary documentation for all supervisees per GTN policies, procedures, and guidelines within their own professional documentation system. Comply with applicable credentialing guidelines, HIPAA, state law, federal law, and professional ethical standards. Utilize the
APIED Process:
Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, and Documentation providing Recreation Therapy Services. Develop, review, revise and document Treatment Plan for individual or group treatment. Communicate with an interdisciplinary team, set by community mental health agency wraparound coordinator. Schedule and coordinate ongoing sessions with clients. Develop working relationships with community stakeholders, to increase programming opportunities: community health clubs, recreation facilities, community mental health agencies, etc. Qualifications Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification Proficient in behavioral therapy and patient assessment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation Experience in individual and group recreational therapy Familiarity with medical terminology and records management Skills in music therapy, art therapy, and dance therapy Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia care
