Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. In this vital role, you will develop and implement engaging programs and activities tailored to the interests and needs of seniors, fostering a vibrant community environment. Your enthusiasm and creativity will help residents build meaningful connections, stay active, and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in a supportive, team-oriented setting focused on compassionate senior care. Duties Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging daily activities and special events for residents Develop a monthly activity calendar that supports social, emotional, physical and cognitive wellness Build strong rapport with residents through attentive communication and personalized engagement strategies Encourage resident participation and create opportunities for meaningful connections Collaborate with staff members across departments to ensure activities align with residents' care plans and health needs Assist residents with daily activities of living (ADLs) when needed, supporting their independence and well-being Maintain detailed records of resident participation, program outcomes, and feedback to continuously improve offerings Create a fun, welcoming, and positive environment for residents, families and visitors Requirements Proven experience in event planning within assisted living facilities or senior care settings Creative thinker with strong organizational skills Knowledge of geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer's disease, and memory support programs Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with seniors and their families Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care environments is highly desirable Compassionate, dependable, and energetic personality Ability to work independently while being part of a team Demonstrated ability to develop engaging programs that foster social interaction and mental stimulation Prior experience in recreational therapy or social work related to senior living is preferred Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities and locations effectively Join us in creating a lively community where seniors thrive! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
