Job Description

Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking a Life Enrichment Director! As the Life Enrichment Director, you will be responsible for planning and oversight of the Life Enrichment programming in the community, including Memory Care where applicable. He/she develops and organizes an innovative program of activities and special events for the residents of the community in accordance with the company's objectives for each month and under the programming supervision of the Regional/VP of Engagement. The LED acts as a community liaison by developing an active volunteer program, forming strategic referral relationships, and promoting Brandywine's Life Enrichment Values and programming off-site as requested. Develops and implements a varied and innovative Life Enrichment program to enhance the emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual well-being of the residents.

Regulates the content and presentation of programs in accordance with residents' capabilities, needs, and interests.

Implements a robust, multi-generational volunteer program that will enhance the programs offered by the community.

Arrange and oversee the Community Ambassador program for all new residents and ensure the Oral History is taken.

Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, the department, and the personnel.

Encourages residents to participate in Life Enrichment programs with an upbeat, helpful, and positive attitude.

Organizes, coordinates, and accompanies residents on special outings as necessary.

Assists the Executive Director in establishing a Community Resident Council. Oversees attends, and assists as needed with the Resident Council meetings.

Successfully utilizes designated computer programs to prepare and distribute the community's monthly Life Enrichment calendar, daily notices and all Life Enrichment advertising in a timely, appropriate manner. Benefits Offered(Full Time):
