Job Overview 5 days a week from 1:30pm-4:30pm We are seeking a passionate and energetic Life Enrichment Assistant to join our dedicated team in creating vibrant, engaging, and meaningful experiences for our residents. In this vital role, you will develop and coordinate a variety of recreational activities, social events, and therapeutic programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of seniors, including those with memory care challenges such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Your enthusiasm and compassionate approach will foster a warm community environment where residents feel valued, connected, and inspired to live their best lives every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while working in a supportive, team-oriented setting. 5 days a week from 1:30pm-4:30pm Duties Plan, organize, and execute engaging resident activities and events that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity Develop innovative programs that cater to residents' interests, abilities, and care needs, including memory care initiatives Coordinate with staff members to ensure activities align with individual care plans and therapeutic goals Build strong rapport with residents through personalized interactions and attentive communication Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), such as assisting residents with mobility or recreational participation when needed Manage scheduling of programs and resident events to maximize participation and community engagement Collaborate with team members to evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve offerings based on resident feedback Support residents' emotional well-being by providing companionship, counseling on aging issues, and facilitating social connections Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, geriatrics, and senior living environments Proven skills in event planning, program development, and recreational therapy for older adults Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory impairments is advantageous Ability to work collaboratively within a team leadership role while fostering resident rapport Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors through engaging activities Join us in making a difference by enriching the lives of our residents! $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
