Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Resident Engagement Director to lead our community's resident programs and foster meaningful connections among residents. This role requires a passionate individual with extensive experience in senior care, program development, and team leadership. The Resident Engagement Director will be instrumental in creating engaging activities, building resident rapport, and ensuring a warm, inclusive environment that promotes well-being and active participation. Responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and implement diverse recreational and social programs tailored to residents' interests and needs. Lead efforts in planning resident events that encourage socialization, cognitive engagement, and physical activity. Foster strong relationships with residents by providing personalized attention and support to enhance their overall experience. Collaborate with staff members across departments to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines. Manage scheduling of programs and events efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) when necessary, promoting independence and dignity. Maintain detailed records of resident participation, preferences, and feedback to continually improve program offerings. Skills Proven expertise in event planning within senior living or assisted living environments. Extensive assisted living or long-term care experience, including familiarity with memory care and dementia-specific programming. Strong background in geriatrics, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for engaging residents, families, and team members effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, scheduling, and reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative programs that promote socialization and mental stimulation. Leadership skills necessary for supervising staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams involved in resident activities. $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
