Activity Aide Job Type:
FULL_TIME At Royal Suites Healthcare and Rehabilitation, we are committed to providing outstanding healthcare in a beautiful environment with luxurious accommodations and amenities. As a comprehensive nursing home, we offer a full range of healthcare services, including rehabilitative therapy, skilled nursing care, post-surgical care, long-term care, Alzheimer's and dementia care, as well as respite and palliative care. Located in Galloway, NJ, we are seeking a motivated and compassionate Activity Aide to join our Activity Department. About the
Role:
As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. You must have an outgoing personality, enjoy working with the senior population, and have at least 1-2 years' experience working with Seniors, Alzheimer's patients and Customer Service. Your artistic and/or musical ability is strongly preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, music, exercises, and games Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individualized activity plans for residents Monitor and document resident participation and progress Develop and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for activities Assist with special events and programs
