Job Description
Rehabilitation-PT Activities Coordinator - •Per Diem•
Two years of experience working in skilled nursing facility and/or assisted living. Certification(s):
State and National Certification of Activities Professionals.
American Heart Association approved CPR/BLS required.
Proficient in MS Office.
Essential Physical RequirementsIt is common to encounter potential hazards in the healthcare environment. Some of these hazards could include, but are not limited to: radiation, toxic chemicals, biological hazards, heat, cold, noise, dust and stress. Carson Valley medical Center has a Safety Management program in place addressing these issues.
IMPORTANT NOTE
In lieu of benefits due to "per diem" status, 15% will be added to the hourly rate. Per diem employees are offered work on an "as-needed" basis.POSITION SUMMARY
The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the activity program by planning and reviewing the residents activity calendar; this includes assessing interest, response and outcomes documented in the progress notes.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.Minimum Qualifications:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.Two years of experience working in skilled nursing facility and/or assisted living. Certification(s):
State and National Certification of Activities Professionals.
American Heart Association approved CPR/BLS required.
Other:
Valid NV/CA drivers license.SkillsComputer/Typing:
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.Proficient in MS Office.
