Job Description

Description Join Our Team as a Lifestyle Coordinator Are you ready to have fun doing what you love and helping Seniors live their life to the fullest? The Village at Summerville is seeking a compassionate and creative Memory Support Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, and lead engaging, person-centered activities for residents in our Memory Support area. This role uses the Montessori approach to support our residents and promote holistic well-being through meaningful, daily engagement. Duties included but not limited to: Plan, organize, and lead engaging Memory Support activities promoting the seven dimensions of wellness (physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental, vocational) Implement Montessori-based programming for residents with dementia and cognitive impairments Coordinate and deliver activities during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays Personalize activity programming based on resident needs, interests, and input from families Support new resident orientation and ensure a smooth transition into the household Understand Montessori approach and assume leadership role in teaching, coaching, and modeling approach Manage inventory of activity supplies and track monthly budget spending Drive the community bus for resident outings and serve as backup driver as needed Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Associate degree in Human Services, Social Science, Behavioral Science, or other related field. Certified Dementia Practitioner credential, or similar credential in dementia care.
