Seeking Recreational Therapists to provide services for clients in the following regions: North Austin Round Rock Liberty Hill Role Overview The Recreational Therapist designs and implements evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. Services are delivered directly to individuals receiving CLASS waiver services across their authorized service environments. Key Responsibilities Assess client functional capabilities, limitations, and personal goals to establish baseline needs. Develop, execute, and adapt individualized treatment plans that enhance independent functioning and overall quality of life. Engage clients in targeted, purposeful activities designed to facilitate clinical outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and modify programs based on ongoing clinical assessments. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) is required. Proven ability to work independently, manage a flexible community-based schedule, and navigate diverse environments. Clear, objective communication skills for professional collaboration and client engagement.
