Job Description

The Enrollment Coordinator serves as the lead for recruiting and marketing efforts for campus-based undergraduate and graduate programs within the College of Education and Human Development, College of Fine Arts and Communications, and the Department of Leadership Studies. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive recruitment and marketing strategies, including K-12 outreach and community-based recruitment initiatives, in support of university enrollment goals. The position collaborates closely with academic leadership, Enrollment Coordinators, the Office of Admissions, Alumni Affairs, and other campus partners to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and outreach across multiple platforms. Key responsibilities include managing digital presence (websites, accessibility, SEO, and social media), developing recruitment content, coordinating recruitment events, supporting data-informed outreach strategies, and promoting academic programs, faculty, students, and events. This position reports through the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, with a dual reporting relationship to the supported colleges, ensuring alignment between institutional enrollment strategies and college-specific recruitment objectives. Lead recruitment and enrollment marketing efforts for the College of Education and Human Development, College of Fine Arts and Communications, and the Department of Leadership Studies, including undergraduate and graduate programs, K-12 outreach, and community engagement initiatives in collaboration with academic leadership and the Office of Admissions. Manage and maintain digital recruitment platforms, serving as the college web liaison by updating and supporting websites with a focus on accessibility, SEO, consistent branding, and user training; collaborate on social media strategy to ensure a cohesive institutional presence. Plan, coordinate, and support recruitment events and activities, including open houses, orientations, campus visits, summer programs, and joint recruitment initiatives, working closely with directors, chairs, Enrollment Coordinators, Admissions, and the Welcome Center. Develop and deliver recruitment and promotional content, including marketing materials, presentations, web and social media content, and news releases that promote academic programs, students, faculty, staff, and events in alignment with university branding and messaging standards. Utilize data and CRM tools (Slate) to support enrollment goals by analyzing recruitment and enrollment data, informing outreach strategies, tracking prospective student engagement, and targeting high-achieving student populations. Collaborate with campus and external partners, including Alumni Affairs, school districts, and community stakeholders, to strengthen recruitment pipelines, promote programs to graduates, support fundraising initiatives such as Giving Day, and share best practices across colleges; perform other duties as assigned in support of university enrollment goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field. 2 or more years of experience in academic services, student support services, case management, or related experience. 2 more years of experience of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, enrollment marketing, digital communications, or higher education marketing
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field. 5 or more years of experience of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, enrollment marketing, digital communications, or higher education marketing. Experience managing projects and working within time constraints. Proficiency and experience in utilizing a range of technologies, which may encompass, but are not limited to, CRM systems (Slate preferred), Web content management systems, social media platforms, and Adobe or other related design platforms. Prior experience in college recruiting demonstrated familiarity with the details and demands of marketing, student outreach, enrollment, and yield.

Strong project and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability, including creative thinking, adaptability, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team. Commitment to high-quality customer service and professionalism, including a positive, collaborative approach to serving stakeholders and flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work primarily in an office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer, and repetitive hand motions, along with the ability to lift, load, and transport marketing materials that could weigh up to 35 pounds.
Job Conditions:
Work is performed in a professional office environment with extensive use of computers and telephones.
