Job Description
Overview Live in caregiver is an option. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Resident Experience Lead to elevate the quality of life for residents in our senior living community. This dynamic role focuses on creating a vibrant, engaging, and supportive environment where residents feel valued, connected, and cared for. The Resident Experience Lead will serve as a vital link between residents, families, and staff, ensuring that each individual's needs and preferences are at the forefront of daily operations. Duties Plan and coordinate engaging resident events and activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being. Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with nursing staff to support residents' unique needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Foster strong rapport with residents by providing compassionate support during daily interactions and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). Lead team efforts in recreational therapy programs designed to enhance mental health and physical activity among seniors. Manage resident schedules, coordinate appointments, and ensure seamless communication between residents, families, and care teams. Assist with aging issues counseling by providing resources and emotional support tailored to individual circumstances. Oversee the planning and execution of community events that encourage resident participation and foster a sense of belonging. Experience Proven experience working with seniors in assisted living or nursing home environments, with a focus on geriatrics and memory care. Strong background in event planning, recreational therapy, or program development tailored to older adults with disabilities or dementia. Demonstrated ability to build meaningful resident rapport through effective communication skills and empathetic caregiving. Prior leadership experience managing teams within senior living facilities or long-term care settings. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for documentation, scheduling, and communication purposes. Knowledge of aging issues counseling, social work practices, and home & community care coordination. Experience working with geriatric patients requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
