Job Description

Overview The Woodlands at Stowe is seeking a Resident Advocate & Activities Coordinator with a great personality to join our small team! The Woodlands at Stowe is an active 55+ independent living retirement community located in the heart of Stowe, VT. The Resident Advocate/Activities Coordinator directly reports to the Site Manager. This team member is responsible for organizing services, programs and activities cultivating liaisons with community resources and services and developing resident participation in the decision making process to ensure their ability to live an active, independent life. Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.
Compensation:
$22-26/hour. The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors. Responsibilities Responsible for coordinating workshops as well as social cultural and recreation activities for residents. Responsible for the coordination between residents, families, service providers and Site Manager to ensure an active, independent life, for our residents. Works closely with the Site Manager to plan for and coordinate educational and wellness programs for the residents.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Associates Degree or BS Social Work, gerontology or counseling, desired
Experience:
Experience in gerontology and or social services delivery
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills a must. Ability to work independently and be well organized.
