Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Experience the untamed beauty and welcoming community of Chugiak, Alaska, while broadening your clinical expertise in a high-acuity setting. This travel nursing assignment offers a rare opportunity to live and work among the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, pairing adventure with career-enhancing experience. When you're off the clock, immerse yourself in world-class outdoor recreation—from hiking to spotting the northern lights—while cultivating skills in a dynamic hospital environment. As an Operating Room RN, you'll collaborate with a supportive, skilled surgical team, gaining firsthand exposure to advanced procedures and technologies, including multi-level spine fusions and Xi Robotic cases. Working in this role will deepen your proficiency in orthopedics, total joints, neuro, and robotics, while exposing you to new perspectives in patient care, diverse leadership styles, and varying workplace practices, all of which will enhance your professional growth and make your resume stand out nationally.

Shifts:
6:30AM-7:00PM (three 12-hour shifts; weekends possible)Assignment Length:
13 weeksOn-call:
Approx. 5-6 weekday and 1 weekend call shifts in an 8-week periodRequired Qualifications:
Alaska RN license (perm) BLS and ACLS certifications OR RN experience with skills as a patient advocate circulator in the sterile field Experience in ortho, total joints, neuro, robotics Willingness to take on callPreferred Experience:
Circulator and scrub experience CNOR certificationCore Responsibilities:
Circulate and support a variety of advanced surgical cases Act as a patient advocate in the operating room Work closely with RNs, scrub techs, and surgical support personnelPerks & Benefits:
