Meditech Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient addiction treatment and opioid recovery program in Ketchikan, Alaska. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care in an ambulatory behavioral health setting while supporting patients through addiction recovery and wellness. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care within an outpatient addiction treatment clinic Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient and quality patient care Perform patient assessments, specimen collection, medication administration, and clinical support duties Maintain medication inventory and clinic supplies Complete Point-of-Care testing and required quality control procedures Accurately document patient care and services in the EMR system Assist with clinic opening and closing procedures Maintain infection control and safety standards Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, competencies, and educational programs Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams Support a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Alaska RN License (required at time of submission) Current BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of RN experience Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting Preferred Qualifications Acute care experience Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or opioid treatment programs Outpatient or ambulatory care experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform patient care duties throughout the shift Additional Information Flu vaccination required Fingerprinting and background processing required prior to start Housing and travel are not provided Start date may be adjusted based on fingerprint processing timelines Why Apply?
