1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active AK RN license and at least 2 years of recent LDRP experience. Details Acute care hospital setting in the OB/L&D unit Unit consists of 4 LDRP rooms and 5 Nursery/Postpartum beds Nurse-to-patient ratios follow national standards based on labor type and patient needs Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts On-call responsibilities as needed, following unit procedures Uses Meditech and OBIX charting systems along with Epic Utilizes Pyxis Supply Stations and bedside fetal monitoring equipment No floating to other units or departments required Requirements Active AK state RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience required Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, STABLE, and HS AED Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required COVID vaccine or declination form required for consideration BSN not required for this position Additional Information Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing in accordance with hospital policies and standards of practice Unit-specific orientation includes 3 days of Meditech and OBIX training Medication testing must be completed on-site within the first two weeks of starting Scrubs are provided by the facility Unvaccinated staff must wear masks per facility policy Local candidates will be accepted at the same rate Facility may cancel up to 24 hours within a 13-week contract with no penalty Previous employees with prior employment at this facility system must disclose this for a rehire eligibility check
