Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will lead comprehensive patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise will drive quality patient care, streamline medical documentation, and support clinical operations within a fast-paced hospital or long-term care environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence patient outcomes positively while demonstrating nursing leadership and management skills. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, mental, and emotional health to develop personalized care plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts to ensure seamless delivery of patient care in accordance with hospital standards and long-term care regulations. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation with precision, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide administrative clinical supervision to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on best practices and regulatory compliance. Stay current with state healthcare regulations, and long-term care facility requirements to ensure ongoing compliance. Utilize management skills to prioritize caseloads, streamline assessment workflows, and improve overall clinical efficiency. Experience Proven experience in long-term care settings with a strong background in patient care and medical documentation. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments and documentation. Prior management or nursing leadership experience, including supervising clinical staff and coordinating interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules, healthcare regulations, and long-term care facility standards to ensure regulatory compliance. Experience with data analysis skills to evaluate patient outcomes and support quality improvement efforts. Experience is highly desirable, along with familiarity with long-term care regulations.
