The nurse will perform scrub functions, including handling instruments and supplies, and circulating functions such as monitoring patient condition, managing overall care, and communicating updates. Additionally, the role includes assisting the surgical team with tasks like hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning, as well as preparing operating rooms and equipment. Qualifications and Skills Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire or transfer Diploma from an accredited nursing program Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and possess strong technical and communication skills to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
