Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career with an impactful Med Surg Oncology assignment. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to oncology patients, working alongside a dedicated team in a dynamic acute care environment. Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, 13-week contract assignment 36 or 48 hours per week Choose from 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts Day or night shifts available No on-call, weekends, or holiday shifts required
Qualifications:
Active RN license; BSN preferred BLS (AHA) certification required ACLS certification required Valid compact license accepted Minimum of 2 years' experience in Med Surg Oncology strongly preferred Prior travel nursing experience a plus
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care for adult oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in coordination with a multi-disciplinary team Administer chemotherapy, monitor patient responses, and manage side effects under set protocols Provide emotional support and education for both patients and their families Document all care and patient interactions in accordance with hospital standards Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control guidelines and regulatory requirements
